A couple weeks ago, my husband and I were waiting for a bus when we had one of those “What if …?” conversations. The kind that might lead to something wonderful, or perhaps nothing at all. 

This past year has been one of significant self-discovery for us both. Juan has taken the plunge to begin learning everything he can about illustration and graphic design, already to great success. I completed a master’s degree that’s brought me one step closer to my career goals and, along the way, I’ve been able to reconnect with my long-neglected fiction writing.

With my master’s dissertation done and dusted, standing at the beginning of a new chapter in our lives, neither of us wants to lose the energy and passion we’ve found this year. So, we’ve decided to start a new project, called Argentaffy. 

Argentaffy is a way for both of us to continue nurturing our talents and abilities, and to share them with the world. We created a Patreon page, as well as an Instagram and Facebook, where Juan will share his art, I’ll share some short stories (maybe some novel previews), and, in 2025, we’ll share work on an illustrated children’s story that we’re creating together.
