I specialize in Arthurian studies, with a secondary focus in postcolonial and Global South studies. My research examines how texts engage cultural values and narratives, the treatment of marginalized and minority populations, and the localization of narrative agency. As a scholar of Welsh-American descent, much of my work is informed by the industrial heritage of Wales and Michigan, and the disproportionate impact of post-industrial decline and divestment on minority communities.
