Who I am
I’m a writer with nearly 20 years’ experience (healthcare, higher ed, academia, nonprofit) and a passion for thoughtfully engaging the world through clear, thoughtfully constructed writing.
What I do
I build human connection through storytelling and simplify complicated ideas for reader impact. I’m comfortable with long- and short-form writing, print and digital, and possess considerable experience crafting articles, web copy, ads, social media, web copy, interviewing subject matter experts, and more.
Approach & philosophy
From a decade working with in-house marketing teams, I know that it can be a risk to bring in outside talent. Not all partnerships are successful. I’ve seen outside agencies step in, talk a big game to win confidence … and then found myself rewriting their copy a few weeks later.
I believe in a collaborative approach that centers your objectives. I ask questions early and often to ensure I’ve got the full picture and can deliver—on your needs on brand and on time.
